Lookbook shoot & poster design for designer, Stephanie Uhart's collection. The collection was inspired by monsters & alternate realities so the shoot is based on the retrofuturistic look of 60s sci-fi films.
My final project for my degree work, I look into Otherness in fantasy & childhood memories. The work combines elements of childhood fantasy, like monsters & fantastical landscapes, while juxtaposing it with fashion made by current emerging designers, set on a digitally-made background. The film was entirely shot on a green screen.
This project started out as a collage experimentation, which turned into a film exploring the childhood drawing of the classic Indonesian landscape (rolling hills, flowing river, & padi fields), which most Indonesian kids were taught as in school.
Winner of the Central Saint Martins collaboration project with 20th Century Fox & Swarovski for The Greatest Showman
SELF-O-MATIC was a collaboration project between the Fashion Communication students & Fashion Design students at Central Saint Martins in response to a brief set by 20th Century Fox for the release of their film 'The Greatest Showman'. This project was based on the photobooth that was invented around the same time as the year the film was set in & how it gave creative freedom for the public to control their image. The outcome was chosen as the winner of the brief and was exhibited in London and featured on Grazia magazine.
Persimmon was my first foray into script writing. It explores the themes of dreams, obsession, and a person's perspective between reality & fantasy.
This project was a moving vignette of my ideal view of what I call 'home'. It combines different elements that provoke nostalgia of what being at home feels like to me.
